Hardwood Floor Repair

 I have a townhouse build in early 70′s with original hardwood flooring. There is a 2″ x 1/2″ knot missing and a light stain on the floor. What is the best way to fill the hole and blend it into the rest of the wood without redoing the entire floor?

Water Leak has Warped Wood Floor

We had a water leak from fridge that has warped our wood floor. What can we do to get it back to normal?

Unfortunately at this point it may not be possible to save the floor.

Some options to try depending on the nature of the flooring materials, the severity of the movement, access to the underside, etc., include:

1. Sanding the flooring level and refinishing
